A2 Ghee vs Regular Ghee – What’s the Difference?

When shopping for ghee, you may often come across the term A2 ghee. But what exactly does it mean?

A2 ghee is made from the milk of indigenous cow breeds that produce A2 beta-casein protein, which is considered easier to digest compared to the A1 protein found in many hybrid cows.

Regular ghee, on the other hand, may come from mixed or crossbred cows and may not offer the same digestive benefits.

A2 ghee is often preferred for its:

  • Better digestibility
  • Rich nutrient profile
  • Traditional preparation methods

Many health-conscious individuals are now switching to A2 ghee as part of a balanced and natural diet.
